Ibrahim Nofal is a producer
and director of photography
from Gaza, Palestine.
With over 22 years of experience across war zones, events, and commercial work, Ibrahim creates cinematic visual stories grounded in trust, truth, and adaptability.
He was born and raised in Jabalia Camp, where his father, the first photographer in the camp, introduced him to photography at a young age.
His passion naturally became capturing Gaza—the beauty of his city, its people, and the simplicity of daily life. In 2024, his work moved into photojournalism as a way of capturing the reality on the ground in Gaza.
Ibrahim worked as a freelance photojournalist, and as a videographer with Al Jazeera English, writing and documenting stories from within Gaza aimed to highlight people’s survival and resilience.
His work is driven by the belief that his homeland deserves for its stories to remain alive, including the joy, innocence, and humanity within everyday life, which he continues to seek out and honor with his art.
